for my second corporate portrait photoshoot i wanted to try and correct some of the mistakes i had made in my first attempt. one of those was to make my models personality show a little more and also to correct the back light as in the initial shoot i had it slightly high.
i decide that i also want to try using a different format camera so instead of using my dslr i borrow the hassleblad, which is a square format camera. initially it was strange working with a new piece of equipment especially one which you used at waist height and viewed your image upside down!but i did like it once i got used to it and i found that i took a little more time than normal to compose my picture as i knew it would be harder to edit later on.
below are the images which i took, including negatives, a contact sheet, exposure test strips and a final image.

i then developed these to images there's not much difference between then in exposure times but i feel tha the last image is probably best as it has a good range of contrast which consist of some dark shadow areas and some mid tones and high lights.
overall i think this photoshoot was very successful and had i been able to find more people from different services i think i would of used this for my final assessment, i would of also continued using the hassleblad as i think it works well on this type of shot.
having said the above I'm also aware that it is not really corporate in that the model is just part of a corporation rather than the top ranking officer.
